QOV Strip Quilt - This is our most popular, easy design. If we have an overabundance of donated fabrics, we bundle up complete kits using this design and distribute them to interested piecers. They piece the quilt and return the completed top to a guild meeting or a quilt shop drop spot.

Medal of Honor Quilt - This quilt measures approx. 60" wide by 72" long. It is all 12" squares plus 1 inch sashings, 3" borders. It is made up of 9 patch blocks with a 4 patch center, and friendship star blocks circling the quilt. If you have any questions on construction, please contact Jo Rick at joquilts123@newnorth.net.

To encourage more quilters to make quilts for QOV, Gwen Lundgren has designed a quilt that is quick and easy to make. Three optional blocks can be used in any combination desired. All the points in the blocks float, so they will be perfect. Sashing is added to each block, then all blocks are trimmed to be the exact same size. A simple border completes the quilt. This quilt works great with a group as each member can make as many blocks as they wish and then combine them with others.

I share these in hopes that many quilts will be made and given to our injured military members. Not to be used in any way for monetary gain to an individual.
